    气象人工智能科学模型“风源”发布

    　　中新网雄安12月19日电 (记者 陈溯)19日，中国气象局在河北雄安新区发布气象人工智能科学模型“风源”(以下简称“风源”)。该模型将通过提供开源开放科创平台底座，助力人工智能气象预报模型能力提升与气象人工智能科学研究。 　　中国气象局副局长曹晓钟表示，中国气象局把气象人工智能放在国家战略全局中谋划，推进人工智能赋能气象高质量发展。“风源”标志着气象部门拥有了自主知识产权的端到端科学模型底座，在关键环节实现了技术自主可控，具备了持续迭代、滚动演进的工程基础。 　　谈及“风源”的核心能力，研发团队首席科学家王亚强介绍，“风源”V1.0包含数据同化和预报两个模块，能够基于观测数据直接开展全球气象预报。“‘风源’的长期目标，是发展为观测驱动、多圈层耦合、融合物理机制的开放预报模型，希望通过它的开放性吸引行业专家，汇聚研发力量，并在预报模型成熟后开展业务测试，为预报业务提供理论和技术支撑。” 　　展望未来，“风源”被寄予更高期待：紧扣国家需求，利用人工智能提升对极端天气、特别是短时临近天气的捕捉能力；聚焦低空经济、能源保供、交通物流、健康气象等场景，开发垂类气象人工智能模型，更好服务经济社会发展；拓展国际空间，推动气象人工智能成果在共建“一带一路”国家落地应用；发挥气象科教融合创新联盟的多元创新作用，加强人工智能重点创新团队之间的交流协作。 　　“要瞄准科技前沿，在原始创新上下硬功夫，在高质量自主数据产品上实现突破。”曹晓钟说。 　　“风源”由中国气象科学研究院、雄安气象人工智能创新研究院联合国家气象信息中心、上海人工智能实验室、南京气象科技创新研究院、江西省气象台研发。 　　发布会上，中国气象局还发布了气象人工智能模型“风清”、“风雷”、“风顺”升级研发成果，复旦大学—雄安气象人工智能创新研究院“地球系统人工智能预报”联合实验室揭牌成立。(完) 【编辑:惠小东】|dfg|
